Privacy Policy

What data Truck Hub collects, why, who it's shared with, how long it's kept, and what rights the user has.

Version dated 4 September 2026Terms of Use and Offer

1. Who processes the data

The controller of personal data is LLC "Bars Art", Ukraine, the operator of the Truck Hub platform (truckhub.biz). Enquiries regarding personal data: info@truckhub.biz.

2. What data we collect

  • Account data: first and last name, email, phone number, company or sole-trader name, password in the form of an irreversible hash.
  • Verification data: company documents, driving licences, vehicle registration certificates and insurance policies, payout details — for carriers only, and only to the extent required for admission to the platform.
  • Trip data: requests, bids, routes, photo evidence of cargo and seals, trip chat correspondence, reviews.
  • Geolocation: the driver's GPS coordinates during an active trip — from the moment the trip is confirmed until its completion. Geolocation is not collected outside of a trip.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, login time, session identifier — for account security and abuse prevention.
  • Beta test applications and enquiries: name, contact (phone or Telegram), email, role, message text.

3. Why and on what basis

  • Performance of the agreement (offer): registration, auction, trip support, SafePay settlements, communication between customer and carrier.
  • Legitimate interest: verifying participants, preventing fraud, event logging, dispute resolution, and building the Trust Score.
  • Consent: newsletters about platform updates and beta test applications. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.
  • Fulfilment of legal obligations: retention of accounting documents, responses to requests from government authorities in cases provided for by law.

4. Who we share data with

  • To the other party of the trip: once a bid is selected, the customer and carrier see each other's contacts and the data needed to perform the transport; trip participants see the driver's position.
  • To service providers who process data on our instructions: EU hosting (Hetzner), email service (Resend), SMS providers (TurboSMS, Vonage) for confirmation codes, Google Maps for displaying maps and routes, and a payment partner for SafePay.
  • To government authorities — only on the basis of law or a court decision.
  • We do not sell personal data or share it with advertising networks.

5. How long we keep it

  • Account data — for the duration of the account and 3 years after its deletion (the limitation period for settlements).
  • Trip GPS tracks — 12 months after the trip is completed, longer only if a dispute is ongoing.
  • Photo evidence and trip correspondence — 3 years, as evidence under the contract of carriage.
  • Beta test applications — until the platform launches, but no longer than 12 months.
  • Technical logs — 90 days.

6. Your rights

  • Obtain a copy of your data, correct inaccuracies, delete your account, restrict processing, object to processing based on legitimate interest, withdraw consent.
  • Users from the EU additionally have GDPR rights, including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with their country's supervisory authority.
  • Send your request to info@truckhub.biz from the account it concerns. We respond within 30 days.

7. How we protect data

  • Connection encryption (HTTPS), password hashing, restricting access to verification documents to platform administrators only.
  • Logging of administrator actions, regular backups, servers hosted in the EU.
  • Confirmation codes are valid for 10 minutes; the number of login attempts is limited.

8. Cookies

The Platform uses only necessary cookies: a session identifier for login and to save interface settings (language, selected mode). There are no third-party advertising or tracking cookies. Google Maps may set its own technical cookies when displaying the map.

9. Age of users

The Platform is intended for persons aged 18 and over and business entities. Data on children is deliberately not collected.

11. Driver mobile app (Truck Hub Driver)

  • Location: the app collects device coordinates only during an active trip, including in the background (with the screen on or off), and shares them with the dispatcher, carrier and shipper of that trip to monitor progress and safety. A persistent notification is shown while collecting in the background; tracking stops after the trip is completed or you sign out.
  • Camera and photos: pictures of cargo, seals, documents, damage and traffic jams are stored as evidence of the trip together with time and coordinates.
  • Push notifications: the device token (Firebase Cloud Messaging) is stored to deliver notifications about trips, messages and support replies; it is deleted on sign-out or when the carrier detaches the driver.
  • Messages: correspondence with the carrier, dispatcher and Truck Hub support is stored within the trip or request; the driver sees the same data in the web cabinet.
  • Deletion: the carrier can detach the driver, after which access to the app stops; account deletion requests — to support@truckhub.biz.
